I have had the honor of traveling all over the world to talk with patients and other colleagues that share my interest in learning as much as possible about chronic pelvic pain. It is exciting for me to look ahead at what is yet to be discovered about all we do not know in treating this medical disease. I know my experience is making a difference in uncovering the mystery of why so many women suffer in silence.
I am also thankful for my staff that have accepted the challenge to care for patients that have suffered with chronic pelvic pain. Their understanding and compassion for these patients has allowed me to focus on treatments while they comfort my patients and reassure them.
